A Who Dares Wins Egypt -Dahab December 2014 after the madness Acrylic Wall Art Panels
EGYPT — DAHAB 2014
After the Madness
Limited Edition Acrylic Wall Art
This work documents Dahab, Egypt, December 31 2014, captured during the closing hours of a year defined by extreme intensity, survival, and displacement.
Following the January–May 2014 Dahab period — and a subsequent return later in the year — this image records a rare moment of stillness. Taken at Yalla Bar on New Year’s Eve, it shows a pause that was earned, not given. A moment to breathe before movement resumed.
This was not an end.
It was continuity.
Within days, travel resumed across Egypt — onward through Luxor and surrounding regions — before departure to Kenya in January 2015, where the next phase unfolded.
The image reflects composure after pressure, presence after survival, and clarity before the next escalation. There is no confrontation depicted, no urgency on display — only awareness.
This is not celebration.
It is stability reclaimed.
