Later, sitting beside Gino — the man tied to the historic €130 million link — the entire chain of events finally lined up: the 2007 Moores threat, the 2011 €130 million connection, the Hergest SAS link, the cyanide tea, the Tigger cup, the psychological separation of Sean, and Sean Flannery’s strange Rizla message. Everything pointed to the same pattern.
Then a small ginger man walked in, looked directly at me, and said one word: “Goodbye.”
