A Who Dares Wins 116lbs A1 man war on fk Ups Vigilante training 20X Cadair Idris Acrylic Wall Art Panels

£5,000.00
By A1-Who Dares Wins

116 LBS — CADAIR IDRIS

Post–Snowdon Conditioning Phase (June 2010)

Limited Edition Acrylic Wall Art

This work documents a conditioning ascent of Cadair Idris, undertaken in June 2010, approximately one month after the Snowdon blind ascent that later became recognised as SAS Link Two.

The image captures the shadow of the subject carrying approximately 116 lbs (52.6 kg) of load — two bags of cement secured within a military-issue rucksack — during a solo ascent and descent in summer conditions.

At the time, body weight was approximately 76 kg.
The decision to undertake the climb was unplanned and immediate.

This was not training for sport, display, or endurance records.
It was a deliberate continuation of post-event physical and mental conditioning, reinforcing load tolerance, decision-making under fatigue, and self-imposed operational stress.

The absence of the figure’s face is intentional.
The shadow records weight, movement, and terrain, not identity.
