**DAHAB GOLD — SCENE 2

“Breaking the Glasses” – Story for Artwork Description

Right after the reception desk moment, when the music was blasting in my ears and the tension in the hotel had reached its peak, the next scene became one of the most symbolic in the entire Dahab Gold timeline.

I sat down at the small wooden table with the atmosphere heavy and charged. Sean’s motorcycle chain was beside me — coiled, waiting, always part of the background pressure. His reading glasses were on the table too, the same glasses he used to analyse, watch, and judge. In that moment I made a decision: I wasn’t going to be intimidated anymore.

I picked up the glasses and snapped them apart deliberately — not out of anger, but out of clarity.
Each crack, each fragment, was a message:
I refuse to play your game.

I dropped the broken pieces into a Winnie the Pooh Tigger cup, of all things — a child’s cup holding the shattered remains of a grown man’s control. The contrast said everything. It was symbolic, psychological, and precise.

On the table sat a single penny and faint chalk circles I’d made earlier, marking the objects like a coded warning diagram. Nothing was random in that moment. Nothing happened by accident.

The room was silent except for the faint echo of the music still in my head. The tension, the pressure, the testing — all of it focused into that single action.
It wasn’t violence.
It wasn’t aggression.
It was a shift in power.

Scene 2 captures the exact moment the balance changed.
The moment control flipped.
The moment I drew a psychological line and refused to step back.

This is Breaking the Glasses

one of the true pivotal moments in the Dahab Gold story by Mr39-7
