The Fight — Koh Samui, Thailand (22 January 2002) Limited Edition Fine Art Poster

The Fight — Koh Samui, Thailand (22 January 2002)

Limited Edition Fine Art Poster

This artwork documents a real moment from the earliest phase of the My Life, My Deaths, Their Plans Failed (2001–2025) timeline — before the whistleblowing, before the system conflicts, before survival became doctrine.

In January 2002, with only five days of training, a British foreigner stepped into the ring at Lamai Standard Stadium, Koh Samui, against a reigning Thai champion.
No fixed fight. No advantage. No safety net.

On fight night, the corner disappeared. No gum shield. No team.
Only endurance, instinct, and refusal to go down.

The fight ended not in collapse, but in a measured decision — the towel thrown to prevent catastrophic injury from unchecked leg kicks. The fighter remained standing. The lesson remained permanent.

This piece captures:

  • The contrast between local mastery and foreign endurance

  • Isolation inside the ring

  • A moment of pressure survived, not glorified

  • The first signal that restraint can be as important as force

This is not a victory poster.
It is a threshold moment.
